/ Who we are

Vantage AI (you may also see us written as Vantage AI Advisory) is a two founder AI company based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Australia. We build and run AI agent systems, and our product is called The Back Office.

The Back Office is an AI team, not a single tool. It is a set of four agents, covering Finance, Operations, Marketing and a CEO layer that ties them together, that a business owner directs over WhatsApp the same way he would message a real office team. The owner stays in charge of every decision. The agents do the admin.

We are a young company, founded in 2026, and we are still early. We would rather say that plainly than dress it up. What we have is a working product, a strong technical foundation, and a clear view of the problem: trade business owners drown in admin that an AI team can now genuinely carry.

Joel

Joel is the client facing half of Vantage AI. He works directly with business owners: understanding how their business actually runs, shaping what their AI team should do, and making sure the result fits the way a real trade business operates day to day.

Jon

Jon is the technical half. He designs and builds the agent systems behind The Back Office: the Finance, Operations, Marketing and CEO agents, the WhatsApp layer they live in, and the infrastructure that keeps them running.

/ Where we are

We are based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales. We build for Australian businesses first: Australian spelling, Australian tax concepts like BAS and GST in the Finance agent's vocabulary, and the working rhythms of Australian trade businesses.

Because the product lives in WhatsApp and the agents run in the cloud, we can work with owners anywhere in Australia. Sydney is home; Australia is the market.

/ What an owner run WhatsApp AI team is

Most "AI for tradies" products are customer facing: a chatbot on your website or an AI receptionist answering your phone. The Back Office is the opposite. It faces you, the owner. Your customers never talk to it. You do.

The test we hold ourselves to: could a busy tradie, standing in a ute between jobs, message his business the way he messages a mate, and have the admin actually get done? That is the product.

/ How Vantage AI started

Vantage AI started in 2026 with a simple observation: AI agents had become good enough to do real back office work, but almost everything being sold to small businesses was a customer facing gimmick.

Joel and Jon came at it from opposite ends. Jon had been building agent systems and running real operations through them: agents that keep books, run schedules, produce marketing and report upward like a team. Joel kept hearing the same thing from business owners: the problem was never answering the phone, it was the nights and weekends lost to invoicing, chasing payments, quoting and paperwork.

So we put the two together. We built the agent team first, ran our own company through it, and shaped it into a product a trade business owner could run over WhatsApp without learning any new software. That product is The Back Office.

We are early stage and honest about it. No inflated numbers, no invented client logos. We would rather earn trust slowly by being straight about where we are: a small Sydney team building something we think is genuinely new, and proving it one business at a time.
