What does an AI consultant actually do for a small or mid-sized business?
Finds the specific jobs where time and money are being lost, works out which of them AI and automation can reliably take over, and then builds and supports those tools. With us, the output of the first stage is a written Blueprint with a fixed price on every item, so you know exactly what you would be buying.
How much does AI consulting cost in Sydney?
The build is a fixed price, quoted for your business and agreed in writing before any work starts. Once it is live, support and maintenance is one flat $500 a month, however many agents you run. We never charge per agent per month.
How many hours a week can AI save a small business?
It depends on how much of your week goes on repeat admin, which is why we measure it before we build anything. In the business process review we record the hours your team spends re-keying bookings, raising and matching invoices and chasing enquiries. We will not quote you a figure we have not measured in your business.
What is a business process review?
It is the first stage of our work, which we call the Map. We walk through your customer journey and back office with you, record how long each routine job takes today, and hand you a free written Blueprint: a prioritised list of what to automate first, with a fixed price for each build.
Do I need an AI consultant, or can I just buy an AI tool?
An off the shelf AI tool does one job in isolation. Most of the time lost in an established business sits between systems: the booking re-typed into the calendar, the invoice matched to Xero by hand, the enquiry nobody followed up. An AI consultant for small business earns their keep by finding those gaps, connecting your existing software and building the missing pieces. If a ready made tool already does the job, we will tell you to buy it.
Can a Sydney AI consultancy work with a business outside Sydney?
Yes. We are based in Sydney and like to do the business process review in person where we can. Most build and support work is done remotely, so we work with businesses across Australia.
Do we have to change our software?
Almost never. Your booking system, point of sale and accounting software stay. We connect them properly and build the parts specific to your business on top. If a tool genuinely needs replacing we will say so in the Blueprint, and it is your call.
Will anything go out to our customers without us knowing?
No. Messages, offers, review requests and replies are approved by you before they go out. Once you are comfortable, you decide which routine messages run on their own.
Is our data safe?
We ask for the lowest level of access each job needs, ideally our own limited login that you can switch off at any time. You use your own Claude account, and we switch off model training on it with you.
